The link at the end of the chain is too large a circle to fit through the end of my necklace. I had to use a pair of pliers to elongate it to fit through. It came apart in the process but is still useful.

This longer necklace came in at a time when I just had shoulder surgery & couldn't raise my arm. It was so easy to just connect the necklace & put it on over my head like a shirt. I have used it a lot during the last few weeks, putting different pieces on it or just keeping it bare. It is very pretty. I will use it this way for many more months as I take therapy. This chain is nice and sturdy. It is plain looking with no faceted edges. It’s not as decorative as the regular 18” chains, but substantial looking and of the same diameter. It looks a bit stronger which would help if you have concerns about a chain breaking.
